Environmental protection and the road database

In recent years, we have witnessed the intensive construction of road routes through Serbia. Mitigation plans been designed on all newly constructed sections and environmental monitoring is foreseen. order to successfully implement mitigation plans, there a need consolidate large number type data. Within PE "Roads Serbia" Database department responsible for management, collection, updating analysis data referring roads, traffic, traffic signage equipment, accidents, structures, etc. This paper points necessity upgrading existing database with based applied protection measures, requirements regarding regular maintenance their effectiveness plan. All elements that should be included in are presented detail: noise walls, oil separators used treat waste water, wire fences adapted certain animal species wildlife crossings. The also contain surface groundwater, air, soil level. improve protection, proposals were made use already entered upgrading.
